Track A - Succeed in Business & Entrepreneurship
This track explores how women can build success in business and entrepreneurial settings. Through facilitated panel discussions, speakers will address topics including thriving in entrepreneurial and start-up environments, providing mentorship to other women and serving on boards of directors. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our contributors' diverse industry experiences and from one another as we consider strategies for unleashing our potential in business and entrepreneurial contexts.
Track B - Cultivate Career Development Skills
Your career is a journey and you need a set of skills to help you navigate the turns and bumps along the way. This track is designed to help women at all career levels develop these skills. Start with a workshop on managing your career. Understand the value of mentors and sponsors to setting yourself up for success. Then learn how to advocate for yourself and leverage your skills for a raise or career advancement. Pick and choose which sessions will help you cultivate your career.
Track C - Invest in Your Personal Capital
This track is centered on building your best self in a more marketable, inclusive and financially savvy manner. Self-improvement can take many forms. The first session focuses on how to strengthen your personal brand. Sharpening your financial planning skills can help you put your best foot forward in the years to come: Find out how at our second session. The final session will highlight strategic steps to address microaggressions in the workplace.
Track D - Lead, Empower, Inspire!
This track provides attendees with useful tools to navigate some of the many challenges facing women today. Leaders today have to be highly skilled in influence, communication and conflict resolution. These workshops will provide skills discernment and enhancement and encourage energizing dialogue on topics ranging from talking constructively about subjects that are difficult to discuss to influencing for impact. We will explore workplace misunderstandings caused by perceptions and reality, and then learn strategies to minimize them and resolve conflicts. You will leave empowered as a leader and as part of a team.
