Submission Instructions for Papers and Posters

Follow the instructions below to submit to The Engineering of Sport 9. You will be notified shortly regarding the suitability of your submission for the conference/proceedings.
Before submitting, please read all relevant policies and/or submission guidelines.
The submission process consists of the following steps:
  1. Go to http://digitalscholarship.uml.edu/isea2012/
  2. Click “Submit Abstract” to login and submit your abstract submit
  3. If you are first logging in, create a “new account”.  If you have already logged in or submitted another abstract/paper, then use prior established login information.  Please be sure to remember your login information for future correspondence and submission of the full paper.

  4. Read and accept the Submission Agreement
  5. Provide information about yourself and any co-authors
  6. Provide general information about your intended paper
  7. Upload your electronic file of your abstract

Before you begin, please be sure you have the following items:

  • The submission's title
  • The abstract (up to 250 words)
  • The most relevant sport
  • The most relevant topic/discipline
  • A list of keywords or phrases (5 maximum)
  • The electronic format of your abstract in either a DOC or TXT file

Submission Agreement for The Engineering of Sport 9

I grant The Engineering of Sport 9 on behalf of University of Massachusetts Lowell the non-exclusive right to distribute my submission ("the Work") over the Internet, make it part of the Digital Scholarship @ UMass Lowell. 
I will also assign to ELSEVIER Ltd the copyright to the Work effective when and if the Work is accepted for publication. This transfer includes the right to provide the Work in electronic and online forms and systems. Upon acceptance for publication, I and all co-authors will sign the Publishing Agreement.  A copy of this agreement is available for download.

I warrant as follows:

  1. that I have the full power and authority to make this agreement;
  2. that the Work does not infringe any copyright, nor violate any proprietary rights, nor contain any libelous matter, nor invade the privacy of any person or third party;
  3. that the Work has not been published elsewhere with the same content or in the same format; and
  4. that no right in the Work has in any way been sold, mortgaged, or otherwise disposed of, and that the Work is free from all liens and claims. I understand that once a peer-reviewed Work is deposited in the repository, it may not be removed.
