Restrictions

RESIDENTS OF Arkansas, Kansas and Minnesota: State and federal laws require colleges and universities to be authorized to offer online degree programs in states other than their own. Due to these regulations, the University of Massachusetts Lowell is unable to accept applications or registrations for online courses, degrees or certificate programs from residents of Arkansas, Kansas or Minnesota. Current UML students that move their residence to one of these states should contact Catherine_Hamilton@uml.edu in Online and Continuing Education to determine their eligibility to continue their program of study.

Readmission Due to Inactivity

Students who were previously accepted and enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at UMass Lowell who left the University before receiving their degree or who haven't registered for courses for more than four semesters will need to apply for readmission before they can register for courses. To apply for readmission to that same program, please complete and submit the Application for Readmission .pdf form along with the $60 re-admission fee. To apply into a different program, please complete and submit a new Online Application for Admission and reference your prior coursework at UML in your new application. Please note, if you are applying to a new program, you may need to have your transcripts from other institutions resent to UMass Lowell, as information on inactive students is destroyed after two years of inactivity.
