Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology: Manufacturing Option

The Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology: Manufacturing Option offers students in the Mechanical Engineering Technology program a greater concentration of courses directly applicable to manufacturing. Career opportunities include manufacturing, plant management, product testing and evaluation, quality assurance, and engineering-support operations.

The amount of time it takes for a student to complete this degree will depend upon the individual student's course load. Students may earn the Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (64 credits) as they work towards the Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology: Manufacturing Option (125 credits). Many of the courses taken toward this degree can be applied toward a related certificate program, allowing students to earn additional credentials as they pursue their degree.

Suggested Course of Study - Total Credits: 125
For students who entered the program in or after September 2005
The following course outline, which lists 2 to 3 courses each semester, is only a suggested course load. First-year students should not take more than 1 or 2 courses their first semester. Subsequent course loads may be determined by the student’s own personal time constraints.
