2nd Bachelor's
Degree - Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Interested in changing careers? If you already have a Bachelor’s Degree
and would like to pursue a second degree in Information Technology,
UMass Lowell has a special program for you. Students can pursue a Second
Bachelor’s in IT by taking 10 additional IT courses in designated areas.
Program Outline
Required Courses:
90.477 Information Systems I - 3cr. (only available on-campus)
AND 90.478 Information Systems II - 3cr. (only
available on-campus)
OR 90.480 Project-Based Information Systems (available online) - 6cr.
Electives: (8 total)
Students take five elective
90.--- courses at the .200 level or above:
90.___ Information Technology Elective - 3cr. 90.___ Information
Technology Elective - 3cr. 90.___ Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
90.___ Information Technology Elective - 3cr. 90.___ Information
Technology Elective - 3cr.
Students then take three
additional 90.--- courses at the .300 or .400 level:
