Presented by
the Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Center (MBMC) at UMass Lowell in
partnership with UMass Lowell Continuing Studies
This summer, the University of Massachusetts Lowell is offering a number
of cutting-edge biomanufacturing/ biopharmaceutical training sessions
for beginners, technicians and engineers working in research,
development and production. Seminars will cover topics such as bioprocessing, cell line engineering, biomanufacturing and more.
Laboratory demonstrations conducted at UMass Lowell’s state-of-the-art
Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Center will complement the lectures and
offer real-world solutions.

About the Seminars
These noncredit seminars are designed to provide scientific and
technical
training to scientists, engineers, and other professionals from all
fields of the biotech and biopharmaceutical community. Seminars cover
molecular theories for biotherapeutics, the engineering and applicable
sciences behind bioprocess development, and the latest advancements in
bioprocessing and bioanalytical technologies. Professors, with both
industrial and academic experience, will cover every aspect of cell line
generation, cell culture, fermentation, and protein purification, as
well as protein analysis and characterization. Laboratory demonstrations
conducted in our newly expanded
Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Center will complement the lectures
and offer real-world solutions.
