Our short-term undergraduate certificate programs typically consist of six to eight courses and they get you one step closer to your degree, faster than you ever imagined possible! Many of the courses taken towards these certificate programs can also be counted towards your degree. In fact, many degree program students use them as benchmarks on the way to earning their degrees. Students who have previously applied into a program at UMass Lowell and have been inactive (haven't registered for courses) for a number of semesters will need to apply for readmission before they can register for courses... Readmission form in .pdf file format.
RESIDENTS OF Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas and Minnesota: The University of Massachusetts Lowell is not presently accepting applications or registrations for online courses, degrees or certificate programs from residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas or Minnesota. Due to recent legislative changes the University of Massachusetts Lowell is not seeking state authorization to offer online programs in those states. State and federal laws require colleges and universities to receive state authorization to offer online programs in states other than their own.
