Interested in changing careers? If you already have a Bachelor's Degree and would like to pursue a second degree in Information Technology, UMass Lowell has a special program for you. Students can pursue a Second Bachelor's in IT by taking 10 additional IT courses in designated areas.
Program Outline
Students take five elective 90.--- courses at the .200 level or above:
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
Students then take three additional 90.--- courses at the .300 or .400 level:
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
- 90.--- Information Technology Elective - 3cr.
Final Course(s):
- 90.477 Information Systems I - 3cr. (only available on-campus)
- AND 90.478 Information Systems II - 3cr. (only available on-campus)
OR
- 90.480 Project-Based Information Systems (available online) - 6cr.
Total Credits Required: 30

Approximately 2 months prior to the start of each semester, Online and Continuing Education posts the new course schedule to the website. Once you've decided which course(s) you would like to take, returning students can register using ISIS self-service, while new students must use the New Student Registration Form.
