Program Description
The Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Center Summer Training Program provides scientific and technical training to scientists, engineers and other professionals from all fields of the biotech and biopharmaceutical community. The program provides an overall view of biotechnology and bioprocessing. It will cover molecular theories for biotherapeutics, the engineering and applicable sciences behind bioprocess development, and the latest advancements in bioprocessing and bioanalytical technologies. Professors, with both industrial and academic experience, will cover every aspect of cell line generation, cell culture, fermentation, and protein purification, as well as protein analysis and characterization. Laboratory demonstrations conducted in our newly expanded Massachusetts Biomanufacturing Center will complement the lectures and offer real-world solutions.

Who Should Attend
The course is designed for bioprocess engineers, biochemical engineers, validation engineers, production managers, biochemists, cell biologists, microbiologists, molecular biologist in manufacturing, QA, QC, regulatory and R&D in the biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
